This is the part that suffers the most from a bear attack when it pulls the Handle (or strap) upward so that the Critter Lock bolt doesn’t reach the cap hole and it can’t be secured. NOTE: If the handle is in tact after being pulled up, it can often be re-bent enough so that it is functional again, if not pretty. If your handle is damaged so that this can’t be done, then this is the part you need, unless you can disconnect all of the existing hardware for re-use. In that case, you need only the handle. For this part, all hardware is included, per the picture.
